Pleiades Media was approached by agency Owen Kessel to support Business Day’s brand campaign with PR. The campaign appeals to Business Day’s public mandate to engage with the issues facing South Africa, or face the prospect of having social and economic freedoms eroded and ultimately removed from civil society.
For PR to have an impact it must work with an existing context, be it social, economic or political. We identify on many levels with the values of Business Day - that of providing coverage significant to alter leadership and decision making. We also recognize the value of a free press in terms of supporting a democracy and a buoyant economy.
This was a dream project for us as we realise the changing value and contribution that the media plays in ensuring a fair and just society and a flourishing market economy.
